New look for Swan – Peter Clarke, Director of Development.
In May we launched the first phase of our new brand, with a new website and a range of new publications.
In 2015 we ran a series of branding workshops to not only capture the thoughts of the staff but more importantly the people who use our service. These workshops gave us a unique insight into how people see us and what we needed to change.
The feedback from the workshops was then collated and used to create the new visual identity of the organisation and the new literature. This was an exciting first step for Swan and gives us a new fresh look.
Capturing the feedback from the people that use our service was essential in ensuring our new brand and communication met their needs. We are excited about our new identity and fresh new look. Our feedback told us independent advocacy can be a complicated process to grasp and we wanted to make sure our new website and literature made it easier for people to understand the work we do. This is the first stage in our brand evolution and thanks to a generous grant from the Lloyds TSB foundation we are now progressing with the second stage, which is all about widening our communications and making them more interactive and accessible to all.
