Wiltshire Joint Advocacy Outreach Project

The Joint Advocacy Outreach Project offers direct advocacy support to vulnerable clients of Wiltshire Citizens Advice (WCA).

Sometimes clients can find it difficult to carry through the advice they are offered to address specific problems. WCA Advisers based at Five Rivers in Salisbury can now refer clients to Swan for targeted Advocacy support. Our Advocate will work alongside clients, enabling them to access benefits or services, to make appeals or have their voice heard in whatever way is needed. Swan’s Advocate will also help clients to develop self-advocacy skills, strategies and confidence for the future.

The project is being run in partnership with Wiltshire Citizens Advice and operates on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This pilot project has been made possible by the generous support of Wiltshire Community Foundation, Salisbury Rotary Club,  the Law Society Charity, the Walter Guinness Charitable Trust and the Elizabeth and Prince Zaiger Charitable Trust.
