We have Volunteer Advocate vacancies in Somerset, BaNES, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Volunteer Advocates support the Advocacy Manager in the delivery and promotion of a diverse, inclusive and client led independent advocacy service.
Our Dementia Advocacy Service is seeking volunteers in Somerset, Wiltshire and Bath & North East Somerset to fulfil the following roles:
Dementia Advocate: To support clients who, because of memory loss or dementia, require the support of an advocate to complete a Living Well Plan. this will ensure that clients have greater choice and control over their lives, both now and in the future.
Group Facilitator: to work within small groups to seek views about the Living Well Plan and other materials produced by Swan Advocacy. This ensures potential clients are included in how the dementia service develops.
Evaluations Volunteer: To follow up with beneficiaries of the DAS service, usually face to face, evaluating client experience, response, attitudes and feedback on the Living Well Plan.
