SWAN is looking for new Trustees to strengthen and diversify our Board. Over twenty years we have established an excellent reputation for providing quality advocacy services across the South West. We want to develop a Board that is as inclusive as possible and which represents the diverse communities that we support. We welcome applications from the broadest spectrum of backgrounds within the communities we work with.

We are looking for individuals who are keen to use their skills to help people who are vulnerable. As a member of the Board, you will work with SWAN’s Management team to maximise the organisation’s reach and impact across the South West. You will be part of a Board which plays a key role in the functioning and success of SWAN by setting the overall strategic direction; providing scrutiny to processes and decisions; ensuring standards of governance are upheld; and assessing business development, risk management, performance management and internal controls.
