Volunteer with SWAN

We are delighted that you are considering volunteering with SWAN. We see volunteers as an integral part of our organisation, enhancing our service offer to the community and we appreciate the precious time they give to us.

SWAN recognises the value of volunteers, and we have several incentives and benefits available to those who volunteer with us. Whatever motivates you to volunteer we will aim to meet your desired outcomes.

Whichever role you choose you’ll be a valued member of our workforce and have opportunities to attend wellbeing events, workforce conferences and team building days. We also host bi-annual events to recognise the contribution volunteers make and celebrate your impact.
We have a variety of opportunities to match your skills, experience and interests.

SWAN understands that some people may not have all the desired skills or attributes but come with a wealth of ‘lived experience’ that can mean that they are just as capable of doing the role. We welcome those who have a set of life skills that means they can understand and advocate for the vulnerable people we work with.
